Amancio Ortega enters the renewable energy sector with an investment of 245 million euros to operate a wind farm in Aragon together with Repsol.
The operation will be articulated through the Delta company, in which the energy group will share a shareholding with Pontegadea, the investment arm of the founder of Inditex.
Repsol hopes to accelerate its transition from hydrocarbons to renewable sources thanks to Pontegadea.
Its goal is to become a net zero emissions company by 2050.
