The Algerian writer and novelist, Ahlam Mosteghanemi, described herself as a cause writer, noting that most of her literary works talk about the issues and concerns of the Arab world, and that her writings on love are reflections and observations through her relationships and observations, pointing out that she may change her opinion in this area according to her emotional publication. .

This came during a session in which she met her readers and fans under the title "The Reader is a Writer", as part of the exhibition's activities, and was moderated by Mustafa Al-Agha.

During the session, Mosteghanemi expressed her happiness for her participation in this major international event, noting that her most beautiful memories are found in this event on the land of Sharjah, where in the previous session she signed for more than seven continuous hours, and left the exhibition at 1:30 at night. She responded to a comment by Mustafa Al-Agha about the beauty of her dress, that she used to be present in Sharjah in the Arab dress out of respect for the emirate, which is the castle of Arabism, and it did not happen that she entered it except in an Arab dress, and this is one of her special rituals when visiting cities that have a special pride in her conscience, such as her city, Constantine.

Mostaghanemi said: "I live in the world of my readers more than I live with my family and my children. I read everything they write on my page, after everyone who reads me has become a writer."

Mosteghanemi continued: "Technology tampered with us and stole from us many of our beautiful joys, although it made us accessible to loved ones, but because of it we became permissible or profane. There is no privacy, we live as if we are being chased by a camera."

The Algerian novelist concluded her speech by saying: “I accept my fame as a test of a blessing that God has honored me with, and I always try to bear the concerns of the Arab person as much as I can, and to be faithful to that.”
