On November 9th, entering the winter dry season, as the water level of Poyang Lake continued to drop, the "Luoxingdun", a thousand-year-old stone island located in Lushan City, Jiujiang, Jiangxi, came to light.

It is understood that Poyang Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China, is a seasonal lake. During the wet season, the water level drops and a large area of the lake bottom becomes a grassland oasis.

Luoxingdun is a landmark building and a symbolic cultural relic in Lushan City. It is a stone island with a total area of less than 1,800 square meters. Most of the small islands are immersed in the lake during the high water period, and will be fully revealed when the bottom of the lake is exposed during the dry season.
