As part of the activities to celebrate Spain, the guest of honor of the 40th session of the Sharjah International Book Fair, the Spanish Football League (La Liga) launched the Arabic version of the “Football Glossary” in the Spanish pavilion of the fair, in the presence of an audience of Spanish football fans.

The Spanish pavilion held a dialogue session, in which Might Ventur, the administrative director of the Spanish Football League, Daniel Barriga, the representative of the Spanish League in the United Arab Emirates, and Zakaria Mistawa, a TV presenter on Sharjah TV, participated.

Mait pointed out the importance of the dictionary in strengthening the bridges of interdependence between the Spanish League and fans of Spanish football from the Arab masses, in addition to its contribution to enhancing the knowledge of the Arab region about Spanish culture, especially since the dictionary is simplified and not complicated, and contains football terms only, which makes it accessible Any young man who wants to get acquainted with the terminology of football, especially as he explains how to pronounce the Spanish words in Arabic as well, and this makes it easier to understand those terms in an easy and easy way.

Daniel Parega said: “This literary and sports production is very important for the Spanish Football League outside Spain and in the Arab region in particular.”
