The 50th year pavilion showcases the journey of the Emirates during half a century

4,500 international cultural events during the Sheikh Zayed Festival

The Higher Organizing Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Festival announced the schedule of events and activities during the festival period extending from November 18 to the first of next April, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The new edition of the festival includes thousands of entertainment and educational activities, as the festival includes 21 popular international neighborhoods, theaters and folkloric shows, and attracts more than 22,500 participants and exhibitors from around the world, and holds more than 4,500 international cultural events, and more than 650 shows and major public events. In addition to more than 130 workshops for children that develop their talents and expand the horizons of their creativity, amid careful preventive and health precautions in cooperation with the responsible authorities.

Visitors to the festival will be on a date in the fiftieth year’s pavilion with a unique art exhibition, reviewing the UAE’s journey during the past 50 years, and highlighting the role of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in building man and society, and his insightful vision in building A bright future for the UAE.

The festival has dedicated pavilions, major exhibitions and popular neighborhoods, to highlight the civilization of the UAE and various aspects of its culture and folklore, and includes events, songs, popular markets and live performances on ancient crafts and traditional Emirati industries. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in developing agricultural methods and establishing an integrated system in the livestock sector.
