Recently, a huge wall painting incorporating elements of Miao embroidery culture appeared in Chongqing Eling Second Factory Cultural and Creative Park.

It is reported that this 10-meter-high wall painting was designed by Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts and completed by Chuanmei 108POP Studio.

Painter Cuihua told reporters that the inspiration for the wall painting came from the huge island scroll in the online mobile game.

The work not only wants to show the cyberpunk style of the mountain city of Chongqing, but also embodies the integration of Chongqing's intangible cultural heritage Pengshui Miao embroidery culture and modern trendy urban culture.

"The costumes of the characters in the painting combine cultural elements of Miao embroidery, and the patterns on the helmets of the animal images are also Miao embroidery patterns." Cuihua said.
