The international glass art center of Meisenthal (Moselle) has unveiled its new creation.

A Christmas ball inspired by nature and more precisely by wildlife.

The designers tried to subtly reproduce traces of tits.

A nod to the name of the town which means “valley of the tits”.

Sold on Christmas markets

This unique creation was presented to local media.

“With my mother and my sister, each winter we hung small balls of fat for the birds”, recalled with

Harmonie Begon, responsible for imagining this creation.

Then, she let the tits peck and move the seeds.

They naturally shaped the future Christmas ball which was finalized by glassmakers.

From Thursday, the ball baptized "Piaf" will be on sale in particular on the website of the glass art center then on many Christmas markets such as Strasbourg, Colmar, Metz or even Nancy.

It will cost around twenty euros to afford it.
