Egypt.. Life imprisonment for a fake doctor who kidnapped six girls
An Egyptian court sentenced an impersonator to life imprisonment, and took advantage of the matter to rape six girls inside his alleged clinic, while the court acquitted his wife, who was accused of colluding with and covering up the husband.
According to a number of Egyptian newspapers, last April, the Public Prosecution ordered the referral of Michael Fahmy and his wife to the Criminal Court after he was accused of "kidnapping six minor girls and forcibly indecently assaulting them by making them believe that they needed special treatment and examination, through which he was able to commit his crime."
The prosecution accused the doctor's wife of participating with him in "agreeing with and aiding in the commission of crimes."
In the convict's home, the prosecution found CDs, which were found in his home, on which he depicted the crimes he had committed, and relied on the testimony of 12 people.
Investigations revealed that he did not obtain a scientific degree, and his clinic is not registered as a medical facility, and according to sources in the court, the verdict can be appealed within 60 days of its announcement.
