An Egyptian file for divorce after Al-Sabahiya's surprise: Another girl I don't know
A divorce call filed by an Egyptian man topped social media platforms and local media, as the man filed a disobedience suit against his wife on the pretext that "his wife used make-up" to entrap him in this marriage.
And according to a number of local newspapers that published details of the incident, the husband revealed how he got to know his wife, saying: “We got to know her through the social networking site, and I saw her in the pictures first, and then we met and she was beautiful, and I decided to engage her, and the two families agreed, and months later we finished the marriage arrangements. And the marriage took place, to wake up in front of me another girl I did not know before.”
The husband indicated that "he had convinced his wife more than once to refrain from applying cosmetics, but she refused, claiming that she did not want these controls, and that he knew her in this situation."
He added, "I did not imagine that she would deceive me with these cosmetic tricks, and that make-up changes her appearance in this way, so I thought that she would improve her appearance no more."
And about the reason for taking this step, he explained to Al-Watan newspaper: “In the morning, the second day of joy, I woke up before her, and I found another unit, and I was surprised, and she told me that she had been tired from the joy arrangements for months, and she put on another makeup, and every day she sits and puts on makeup in very large quantities, before what I wake up from sleep, and I sit with him all day long, and I warned her more than once, and complained to her family, but she refused,” stressing that he “decided to separate from her in the first week after marriage, but she collapsed and refused, so he was patient with her until she changed her condition, but he could not bear it, and she did not He can tolerate living with her and coexisting with her lies and deceit. After a month, he asked her for a divorce, but she refused and threatened him with her rights.”
The Egyptian man stressed that he "does not want to live with his wife under one roof, and can no longer tolerate her lying and deceiving him, so he decided to resort to the family court, and filed a case of disobedience, and the case is still pending and has not been decided."
