In 2015, the company Designers revolt was prosecuted for selling copies of design furniture and lamps for several years, mainly to Swedish customers.

Three people behind the company were sentenced to prison for between 1.5-2 years and a fourth person was sentenced to a suspended sentence and a daily fine.

- I'm just waiting for the next company to try to do this again, says art critic Dennis Dahlqvist.

The prince was accused

As a designer, Prince Carl Philip has made design collaborations with several Swedish companies.

In 2013, the prince together with Rörstrand released a porcelain collection.

He was later accused of stealing the idea because the series was considered too reminiscent of a porcelain series that designer Paul Hoff had previously executed for Gustafsberg.

- We have received confirmation from the Court that he has not seen this series.

But it is a very natural concept because Prince Carl Philip has such a great interest in nature and animals.

And nature in interior design is a hot trend that we have built on, said Martina Hansson at Rörstrand at the time.
