Return of the mask compulsory in primary from this Monday in 39 departments

The mask is back to school. Faced with the resurgence of coronavirus cases, the government is forced to relaunch health measures. From Monday, the mask is thus again compulsory in primary school in 39 departments. Passing the incidence rate above the threshold of 50 per 100,000 inhabitants automatically entails this obligation. This concerns Ain, Hautes-Alpes, Ardennes, Aveyron, Cher, Corrèze, Haute-Corse, Côtes-d'Armor, Creuse, Drôme, Eure-et-Loir, Gers, Ille-et-Vilaine, Indre-et-Loire, Isère, Loir-et-Cher, Haute-Loire, Loire-Atlantique, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, Maine-et-Loire, Morbihan, Moselle, North, Oise, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Orientales, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Sarthe, Savoie ,Seine-et-Marne, Deux-Sèvres, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Var, Vendée and Vienne.

What "reparation" measures are the bishops working on?

The victims of child crime on the part of certain members of the Church will finally know what answers the episcopate intends to provide.

The bishops meeting in Lourdes must announce this Monday a series of measures to fight against this scourge described by the Sauvé report.

Since the episcopate on Friday recognized its responsibility in sexual crimes committed by priests and religious and their "systemic" dimension since 1950, the words "reparation" and "compensation" are no longer taboo.

It remains to be seen what form this reparation will take.

U.S. borders reopen, airlines stand by

If you plan to go to the United States, it is now possible.

From this Monday, the country reopens its land and air borders to vaccinated travelers, after eighteen months of restrictions particularly badly experienced in Europe or among neighbors Mexico and Canada.

It was certainly possible to go from the United States to Europe since last summer, but foreigners living on American soil and holding certain visas had no guarantee of being able to return home.

Boarding to Washington, Los Angeles or New York for example can now be done much more serenely.
