You

, the Netflix series which lingers on the serial murders of Joe Goldberg then those of his wife Love Quinn, the anti-hero has, of course, a big big need for therapy but is above all a "stalker" relentless on social networks.

Neither neighbors nor colleagues hold any secrets from him.

Being a “serial stalker” means developing an attention that turns into an obsession for an individual or a group of people, be your ex, your crush, your neighbor, your colleague at work. And to feed this obsession, all you need is a “like” on Instagram, an inch under a Facebook post. For some, it is only to satisfy the desire to see the face of the new boyfriend of his ex, and therefore to nab only some information on his Twitter account. For others, it will be a question of developing a real "passion" for a stranger whose life is inevitably a hundred times better than theirs.

Journalist Judith Duportail recently spoke about this devouring obsession in the podcast

Le Coeur sur la table

. And in her latest book (and podcast)

Who is Miss Paddle?

, the freelance journalist and author of

Dating Fatigue

(Ed. de L'Observatoire) explains how “stalking” can turn into fierce jealousy and bring out the worst of our narcissistic “cracks”.
