The Shenzhou 13 astronaut crew carried out the first out-of-vehicle activity on November 7, 2021, Beijing time. Astronauts Zhai Zhigang and Wang Yaping carried out extravehicular operations in the "Flying" extravehicular suit, and astronaut Ye Guangfu cooperated and supported in the capsule.
Compared with the exit of Shenzhou 7 13 years ago, Zhai Zhigang's exit door opened very easily and communication was more relaxed.
Currently, the outbound activity is underway and is expected to last 6 hours.
