The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office on the 6th voluntarily circumvented the money lending business law violation case in which the office of the former Deputy Minister of Finance Kiyohiko Toyama, who was a member of the Komeito House of Representatives, was searched. I found out by interviewing the people concerned that I heard.

In this case, there is a suspicion that two former secretaries of Mr. Toyama were involved in the loan of a government-affiliated financial institution that was mediated by a representative of a company in Tokyo without registration. It seems that he asked for an explanation about whether or not to provide profits to Mr. Toyama.

In August, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office violated the Money Lending Business Act, including the parliamentary office to which the then secretaries of the former Deputy Minister of Finance Kiyohiko Toyama, who was a member of the House of Representatives of the Komeito Party, and the consulting company in Tokyo represented by Mr. Toyama. I searched for it as a related party of the case.

According to people familiar with the matter, the search was conducted on suspicion that representatives of environmental companies in Tokyo mediated a special loan from Japan Finance Corporation to multiple companies even though they were not registered as a money lending business. ..

The loan supports companies whose business performance has deteriorated due to the spread of the new coronavirus, and two former secretaries of Mr. Toyama were involved in these loans, including encouraging the JFC to introduce the person in charge. There is suspicion.

On the 6th, the Special Investigation Department heard from Mr. Toyama himself about the situation, and it is believed that he asked for an explanation about his involvement in the loan and whether or not he would provide profits to Mr. Toyama.

According to people familiar with the matter, Toyama explained to the people around him that he knew that the secretary was involved in the loan.

The Special Investigation Department is expected to continue to clarify the details by listening to the circumstances from the parties concerned.
