Photos that always have this “wow” effect… A few days before his return to Earth, the French astronaut Thomas Pesquet has published on the networks a (new) magnificent photo taken from the international space station.

It is this time, it is the Atlantic coast which had the honors of the astronaut / photographer.

With a particularly astonishing image, since we see coasts dressed in yellow / brown color, in particular the estuary of the Gironde to Bordeaux.

“The western facade of France, from Bordeaux to Vannes.

The very yellow color is surprising, and above all it looks like the coasts are melting into the Atlantic Ocean ”, comments Thomas Pesquet.

This color, between yellow and brown moreover, is certainly due, in part, to the sediments and sludge carried by streams and rivers, flowing into the ocean.
