Gender inequalities are still very high, especially in the world of work.

French women have been working "for free" since Wednesday, November 3, 2021. While men, they will be paid until the end of the year.

Said like that, it questions.

It is above all a way of evoking wage inequalities in France.

This date of November 3 (57 days without being paid until the end of the year) is calculated by the feminist collective “Les Glorieuses”, from official data on the pay gaps between men and women.

Is men's work worth more than women's?

Where does this recurring discrimination come from?

How come the problem is not solved?
