When I was watching a movie before, I liked to sit next to the projector and listen to that kind of sound. To me, it was more of a nostalgia, and I missed some of the time I watched movies with my grandpa in the past. , But I prefer the sense of ritual. The sense of ritual it brings to me is different from (the current movie).

[Explanation] In Li Minglong's house, there is a "baby" placed in the house, commonly known as the "Old May Fourth" in the industry.

This was purchased from an old projectionist after Li Minglong's grandfather retired in the 1990s.

Although it is a long time ago, but the color is bright, it can still show smoothly.

Li Minglong introduced that this projector was popular all over the country at that time and witnessed the most glorious moments of old Chinese movies. Most of the existing models are only for display purposes.

This is the FL-16 machine, the first generation of the Yangtze River, produced in 1966.

[Explanation] Since the quality of the film will gradually be consumed with the increase in the number of screenings, in order to find the old film that he likes, Li Minglong will rush to the major film and film trading markets in the country when he is free, and sometimes even fly directly to check it on the spot.

According to him, film films are stored in a fixed form, and they can be stored for hundreds of years. Every time he receives the film, he will repair the damaged parts frame by frame.

For him, the restoration is not only a film, but also a piece of history.

As the film time is longer, the more times it shows, because of its mechanical wear, its film holes will break, and then there will be picks or tears, which will blur the whole picture (cause damage), and then it will be Slowly repair frame by frame, that is, slowly take tape or some professional repair tools to repair, and then repair frame by frame.

[Explanation] Li Minglong said frankly that as digital movies become mainstream today, if film movies are not protected, they will disappear in the eyes of future generations as the years go by.

Collecting film and film is not only my hobby, but also a kind of inheritance. What keeps is history, and it is also a kind of "eternity".

Today, he also has a collection of classic film animations, hoping to let his next generation have unique childhood memories like his grandfather used to accompany him with film movies.

Just like my grandfather, I just show him some meaningful videos for him to watch. In fact, I also have a collection of cartoons, I can share with my children, like "Black Cat Sheriff" we watched when we were young, and " Calabash Brothers".

I think this is a kind of heritage for me.

I think movies can bring us not only entertainment, but good movies are more of a kind of enlightenment and inspiration for life.
