The minarets of the Syrian city of Aleppo raised the ears of the afternoon with the voice of the late great artist Sabah Fakhri, in honor of his artistic career and his distinguished stature.


It is reported that, in his youth, Sabah Fakhri was an employee in the endowments of Aleppo and a muezzin in the Rawda Mosque, after which he decided to establish the Sultans of Tarab band.

 The Syrian artist, Sabah Fakhri, passed away last Tuesday morning at the age of 88, and he is considered one of the masters of Arab art and music. During his long career, he made achievements that will remain in the memory and conscience of Syrians and Arabs in general.
