[Commentary] Li Wenhui, vice chairman of the Association for Relations across the Taiwan Straits, said in his speech that the mainland economy has overcome the complex changes in the internal and external environment and the challenges posed by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and has generally shown a steady, steady strengthening and continuous improvement. It has become a Taiwanese business station. With the broad development space of enterprises, the mainland is even more the best choice for Taiwanese companies to invest and develop and take root in the context of uncertainties in the external environment and increasing instability.

In the first three quarters of this year, cross-strait trade volume reached 239.52 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 29.8%. No force can stop it.
Cross-strait integration and development will continue to deepen, and Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises (in the mainland) will surely gain more room for development.
[Explanation] Yu Muming, the former chairman of the Taiwan New Party, said in a speech at the forum that Guangxi has developed rapidly and has a promising future. It is an entrepreneurial paradise and investment blessing for Taiwan compatriots. Guangxi has obvious geographical advantages in Nanxiang, Beilian, Dongrong, and Xihe. I hope that everyone in the business community present here will master the new era, grasp the new situation, and build a new level on the basis of the heart-to-heart connection between the compatriots on both sides of the strait.

About 260 people from cross-strait experts, scholars, business representatives, relevant departments of Guangxi and representatives from various cities participated in the event.
The forum has signed 14 investment projects with a signed amount of 8.815 billion yuan, covering various fields such as intelligent manufacturing, electronic technology, agricultural product processing, cultural tourism, ecological agriculture, medical health care, and chemical industry.
