He kills his wife and her mother and detains his children on a bloody night... and the Egyptian security ends the tragedy

Egyptian media said that the security forces managed, today, Thursday, to arrest a person who "killed his wife and mother and took his children" hostage since Tuesday evening in Fayoum, southwest of Cairo.

According to the "Al-Youm Al-Sabea" website, "the thugs of Fayoum practiced all kinds of torture on the family (...) and killed his wife's mother, and dumped her body in the yard of the house hours before the storming operation."

During the storming operation, "the thug exchanged fire with the security forces, as a result of which he was shot."

Al-Ahram website pointed out that "the security forces in Fayoum managed to break into the house of the baltaji, who was holding his family, after blowing up the fortified doors and injuring him with a gunshot. They also succeeded in rescuing the family members."

The incident took place in the "Manshiat Abdullah" area in Fayoum governorate, where "the man shot his wife and mother-in-law, kidnapped his children (...) and held them hostage," according to the Al-Masry Al-Youm website.

The website published the results of the preliminary investigations of the incident, which stated that "the accused had a quarrel between him and his wife, after which he took out a firearm, and shot his wife and then his mother-in-law, who happened to be inside the house at this time."

The security services cordoned off the house in which he was hiding with his children, and a clash erupted, after he threatened to kill them if he approached him, and he was arrested, "without harming his children or harming them."

"Rai Al-Youm" website spoke about a family dispute, and stated that the man was called "A. A. A.", and that "he was at odds with his wife, when his mother-in-law visited them to solve the problem, but he shot both of them together, and prevented them from leaving or entering anyone else." The children were taken hostage to prevent the security forces from storming his house.
