Sudanese army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhane on Thursday ordered the release of four ministers who had been arrested on the day of the military coup on October 25, according to state television.

They are Hamza Baloul, Minister of Information and Culture, Hachem Hassab al-Rassoul, Minister of Telecommunications, Ali Jeddo, Minister of Trade, and Youssef Adam, Minister of Youth and Sports, specified the television.

The party in power in South Africa since the end of apartheid, the ANC, recorded its worst electoral score falling for the first time below 50%, in the municipal elections, according to the official results announced Thursday.
