Amazon driver fired after video scandal in delivery truck, company responds

Amazon in Florida has fired a truck driver after a video of a woman leaving his work truck went viral on social media.

The 12-second video was filmed by Dylan Hawke, who noticed a woman getting into the car while she was staying at a hotel across the road.

In the video, an Amazon truck can be seen parked in the middle of a road in Florida.

Seconds later, a woman in a black dress is seen walking out the back door of a truck, fueling speculation about what was going on inside.

The delivery man was then seen holding the door open as the woman was spotted leaving the truck.

In response to the video, netizens came up with their own theories about the mystery woman and the events in the truck, while others cracked jokes, with one writing: “So this is why my package always gets delayed?” Another added, “I got a Prime membership.” Plus".

After the video went viral, an Amazon worker was fired for allowing unauthorized passengers into their delivery vehicles.

"This does not reflect the high standards we hold for our delivery partners and their drivers," the e-commerce giant added.

"Allowing unauthorized people into the delivery truck is a violation of policy, and the driver is no longer with us," company spokeswoman Maria Bosti told Fox News.
