The world's largest treasure is not a legend... 500,000 pieces of gems

The value of the treasure is expected to reach more than 20 billion dollars

According to press reports, published by the British newspaper "The Sun", a team searching for treasures is close to finding the largest treasure in the world, after a thousand years of its burial, amid expectations that its value will reach more than 20 billion dollars.

According to the British newspaper, the search team, called "Temple 12", has been searching in Finland since 1987 for the treasure, which includes gold, jewelry and very valuable pieces.

The researchers continued to spend the summer of each year searching for treasure, so they worked hard six hours per day, seven days a week, according to "Sky News Arabia".

The treasure bears the name "Leman Cain", and it is likely that it includes approximately 500,000 pieces of precious stones;

Among them are rubies, diamonds and emeralds, and the history of these potential pieces dates back to thousands of years, and it also includes several statues of gold (18 carats).

The team includes researchers from Russia, Australia, the United States, Sweden, Norway, Germany and the Netherlands.

Researcher and historian Carl Burgen said significant progress has been made, and the individuals involved are excited about what is to come in the coming months.

The existence of the treasure was acknowledged in 1984 after the owner of the land in Finland, Eyor Bok, said it was a descendant of the Limnakian family known in Finnish mythology.

Bock revealed that the treasure is located in a room on his land, and the secret room was closed with stone slabs in the tenth century AD, that is, a thousand years ago, in order to protect the treasure from invaders.

It is expected that the research team will return to the place next May, at which point, they will continue to work until September 2022
