As Michelin-starred cook Mory Sacko explained on Europe 1, JoeyStarr is a big food lover.

No wonder he is now embarking on the creation of this new medium.

A magazine that he wants in his image: engaged, with real stories in it.

Highlight "real stories"

"It's going to be my own world: militant leaders, refugee leaders, atypical people, people who have real stories to tell. I like leaders because there is a whole human story that goes with them." , explained the rapper. A return to the origins for JoeyStarr, whose father was a cook. He also publishes a book,

Le petit Didier

, in which he recounts his chaotic childhood with this silent and violent father.

In the magazine, the focus will be on fun.

"There will be a section 'Show me your fridge, I'll tell you who you are', in which it is said that when you order something, you don't know what you are eating, whereas when you have the base in your fridge , you can have fun. It's a pleasure to cook, it's a pleasure, "he said.

The rapper is targeting two publications per year for his magazine.

"We're going to do something that can't be told. We're going to remember that eating is a celebration, that cooking is as essential as the time spent in your bathroom and your bedroom. Eating is sharing."
