The duo calls themselves Sunshine and has written songs for several of the biggest K-pop bands, such as Twice and Tomorrow X Together (TXT).

Their music has sold a total of more than 20 million copies and has been played about 4 billion times on streaming services.

Recently, the duo also received the government's honorable mention for their efforts in the internationalization of Swedish music.

But the biggest success so far is the BTS song "We are Bulletproof: the Eternal" which is on the album that sold best in the whole world in 2020, Map of the Soul 7.

- We got the track from the record company and felt quite immediately that "this can be made into something big and really fat", says Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker.

- They wanted something they could play at live concerts, as a final song.

Everyone could sing along and get that great group feeling, says Ellen Berg.

"Important with concept"

Sunshine writes melodies and lyrics and they work together with other established songwriters and producers.

In K-pop, it's about finding a concept in each song.

- The concepts are very important because they are based on the title and theme, that is the most important thing, says Moa Carlebecker.

In August this year, Sunshine's third single with the group Red Velvet was released and the song Queendom has become a global hit.

It was with Red Velvet that the duo's success took off.

In 2017, they wrote the mega-hit "Peek-A-Boo", which today has been shown more than 230 million times on Youtube.
