According to the person in charge of the relevant department of China Railway Group, since 2016, the railway department has organized e-commerce Golden Week transportation services five times.
During the e-commerce Golden Week this year, the railway department will launch a number of transportation service initiatives.
This year, the railway department will make full use of the high-speed rail express cabinets on the passenger EMUs, the reserved non-ticket compartments, the luggage carts on the regular-speed passenger cars, and the high-speed rail without passengers. Trains, railway express freight trains, more accurate delivery of capacity.
According to reports, during this period, the railway department will arrange 1,135 high-speed rail passenger EMUs that use the surplus space in the carriages and the high-speed rail express cabinets to store express items. Among them, 35 EMUs that do not sell second-class seats will be reserved at the same time; daily arrangements will be made. There are 32 confirmed high-speed rail trains that run early in the morning, with no passengers, and can carry express items; 240 to 320 regular-speed passenger trains are arranged to use baggage carts to carry express items; daily arrangements are arranged on Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shanghai and other trunk railways There are 8 express cargo trains between Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities.
In addition, the State Railway Group has also added express services at the Linzhi and Shannan stations along the Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway. The number of express service stations for railways across the country has reached 688, covering 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including 249 high-speed rail stations.
At the same time, in order to ensure the prevention and control of the epidemic and the safety of the transportation environment, the railway department strictly implements the safety guarantee requirements of "receiving inspection, real-name registration, and aircraft security inspection" for goods transported by EMUs and luggage carts of general-speed passenger cars.
General cargo will be packaged in a variety of ways such as high-speed rail containers and special packaging boxes. Cold-chain cargoes will be packaged in specially designed cold-chain boxes. All cargo should be packaged clean and tidy without polluting seats or affecting passengers.
After the transportation is completed, the railway department will strictly follow the train epidemic prevention and control requirements for disinfection.
For goods transported by express railway freight trains, strengthen the entire process of goods purchase acceptance, security inspection, supervision of loading and unloading organizations, and epidemic prevention, control and elimination operations to ensure the safety of goods and the environment.
