“Over the past day, 10/30/2021, in Russia, forest fire forces have liquidated eight forest fires on an area of 289 hectares,” RIA Novosti quotes Avialesoohrana's message.
It is noted that by midnight on October 31, ten forest fires were active in Russia on an area of 2552 hectares.
The maximum area of fires was recorded in the Amur region: there is one fire on an area of 1,500 hectares.
Earlier, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia named floods, forest fires and heat waves as the main climatic threats for the country.
