In July, a 20-month-old girl was found dead inside an icebox at a house in Daejeon. This case, which seemed to be forgotten as one of many child abuse cases, became known about the seriousness of the case through an anonymous report that arrived at a local media outlet.
The degree of injury of the deceased child is very serious, and there are even traces of sexual assault. And it was Ms. Yang, known as her biological father, who was brutally violent against the child.
Yang, who fled after the child's body was found, was immediately arrested. And it turned out that he was actually a stepfather, not a biological father. In addition, people questioned the behavior of mother Jung, who helped abandon the body of the child without resistance to her husband's violence.
People around Yang who knew Ms. Yang were shocked by this incident. that he has never exhibited any violent or strange tendencies. Yang also claimed that he was stressed by supporting his wife and daughter, and that he committed an accidental crime under stress and drunkenness when he saw the child crying on the day of the incident. He also said he had no memory of the rape.
However, his wife, Jung, argued differently. He claimed that he was assaulted by Yang every day, and that the assault continued even after he killed his daughter, and that he laughed and said how he would handle the child's body without any guilt.
The expert analyzed the video of the child when he was with his maternal grandmother and when he was with Yang. He said, "When I am with my grandmother, I feel interest in people and feel alive. But even when my father speaks, he does not look at me and actively turns away. I cannot express it in words, but I am expressing my heart with my whole body. There must have been a situation where the child was nervous, but there must have been a situation where he was afraid.”

Yang, who ate too much psychiatric drugs and was unable to control his anger well, was released and arrested repeatedly, and immediately committed another crime upon release. In particular, he used the accounts and names of close acquaintances such as his girlfriend for online fraudulent transactions.
In response, the production team set out to find the women he had met in the past. And the hard-to-find women talked about Yang's violent tendencies. And sometimes they threatened to self-harm to control and coerce women.
Yang's ex-girlfriend, who was fined 5 million won for lending a cannon bankbook to a body cam phishing case and had also suspended banking transactions to this day. He tried to escape several times, but each time he was assaulted and threatened, he said, "I would have been dead if I hadn't gone in then. I might have been the protagonist of this case." ' he shuddered.
A woman who met Yang in 2014 said that she lived with Yang on the support she received from an orphanage. But when he ran out of money, he said that the friendly look he had previously had changed to a savage and violent one. And what happened after that was not so different from the woman I had met before.
However, it turned out that the woman suffered even greater abuse. While meeting with Yang, she became pregnant, and after that, his assault continued. Yang urged his girlfriend to enter a facility for single mothers because of the subsidy. And after the woman entered the single mother facility, she never showed up until she gave birth to a child.
After giving birth, Yang reappeared to send the child for adoption. He had no money, so he proposed to send the child for adoption and receive 600,000 won in support. The girlfriend felt very sorry for the baby, but had no choice but to listen to him.
And in April of this year, I got a call from Yang again. And after killing the child, he sent an obscene message that was difficult to put into words, embarrassing the viewers.
During the interview, an expert said that it is necessary to check the possibility of Jung having borderline intelligence. An expert said, "It is expected that there will be quite a lot of difficulties for a person with borderline intelligence to independently raise a child alone."
And Jung's difficulties were clearly recorded in the counseling record for single mothers. In response, the expert analyzed, "It is true that there are many psychologically incompetent tendencies. It seemed acceptable to the perpetrators, and there was a state of belief that Jung could be exploited and controlled just by threatening and beating him."
Another expert said that Yang's cohabitation with Jung must have been a deliberate act. "Mr. Yang exhibits a 'parasitic lifestyle.' . We cannot rule out the possibility that a target vulnerable to exploitation was deliberately selected and approached.”
Yang also claimed that he was the biological father at first, and when the test results revealed that the child was not the real daughter, he responded that he did not know at all. However, it turned out that he was not at all curious about whose daughter the child was.

Yang, who exploited his daughter and wife in various ways as well as violence. He also squandered all child support paid to support his daughter. And it turned out that he borrowed bonds in his own name and Mr. Jeong's name, and this was not enough, so he blocked it with loans, etc.
In addition, a sexually strange tendency was detected in Yang. He searched for and watched unusual sexual exploitation videos on his cell phone dozens of times and sent obscene messages below common sense to the mother-in-law asking for the child's well-being. And I frowned at my ex-girlfriend I met years ago with similar behavior.
In response, the expert emphasized, "Sexual obsession is very strong, perverted, and the possibility of recidivism is very high."
Regarding Jung, who helped hide the body, he said, "The way Yang murders a baby is so terrible, and seeing it in front of you is a tremendous trauma. So, it is impossible to protect the baby. It would have been just changing the ice to make it less rotten,” he said bitterly.
And it was analyzed that the reason that all of Yang's cohabiting women did not report his violent tendencies to the police was because of 'anti-indictment punishment'.
