Kuwait... Unidentified persons dragged a grocery worker to death after refusing to pay for their food

An Asian expatriate working as a vendor in a mobile grocer in Kuwait was killed this morning, in a tragic way, after a driver ran over him and dragged him for a long distance due to his refusal to pay what he and his friends bought from the victim, who tried to prevent them from escaping.

In the details reported by a security source to the Kuwaiti newspaper "Al Jarida", the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report stating that there was a body on Barr Rahiya Road, noting that upon receiving the report, the security men moved to the site and saw the body, and it was found that it had been dragged for a long distance.

The source added that an eyewitness told the security men that a Japanese-made vehicle containing several people stopped in front of the mobile grocery in which the victim worked, and asked for food and soft drinks, and fled without paying the money, which prompted the grocery worker to stand in front of them to prevent them from escaping, so he was run over and dragged and fled.

The source stated that the security men informed the Deputy Public Prosecutor, who ordered the registration of a case of premeditated murder and forced robbery and assigned the detectives to conduct the necessary investigations and apprehend the perpetrators. He also ordered that the body of the victim be removed and referred to the Forensic Medicine Department.
