The bus network in the metropolitan area of Metz (Moselle), called Le MET ', has launched a communication campaign intended to limit everyday incivility on its lines.

These inappropriate behaviors have invaded space in many cities and Metz is no exception.

The phenomenon targets drivers, agents and controllers.

The operation aims in particular to make users think about their own behavior but also on the personality of the employees of the transport network.

“The LE MET 'agents you meet love their job and have chosen it,” thus informs a press release describing the campaign, relayed by Lorraine Actu.

"Too many and inadmissible"

In traditional buses or vehicles with a high level of service, physical and verbal attacks are on the decline, but incivility remains "still far too numerous and unacceptable", deplore officials.

They also wanted to explain that saying hello or smiling will always be noticed by the agents.

"In any case, they can not be an outlet," assen the campaign.

Like the passengers, the drivers suffer from traffic jams, roadworks and badly parked cars

.

"So […] insulting them because they arrive late, because a stop is not served or because they ask a person to put on his mask, will not make things happen", recalled the campaign.
