Faten Moussa: Mustafa Fahmy divorced me in absentia, and I learned the news from the communication sites!

The Lebanese media, Faten Moussa, revealed the details of her divorce from the Egyptian artist, Mustafa Fahmy, a few days ago, saying that he divorced her in absentia and learned about the matter through social networking sites.

Moussa stated, in a post on her personal page on Instagram, that she had received "the news of her divorce in absentia from Mustafa Fahmy through lawyer Sanaa Lahzi yesterday evening," adding, "This is how I learned of the divorce in absentia from her and from social sites."

And she continued, "I was surprised by the news, just like all the public and the media scene last night."

She explained that she traveled to her country, Lebanon, to attend her sister Mona's engagement party, and Mustafa Fahmy was supposed to join her, but he apologized at the last minute after the security events in the capital Beirut, especially since it was linked to filming conditions and feared the escalation of the security situation there.

The media, Faten Moussa, denied reports that there had been differences between them, saying, "There were no differences or problems between us," stressing that Fahmy had not told her about the divorce and had not agreed with her on her rights so far.

And she added, "Until this moment, I have not officially notified the divorce, after a marriage that lasted about 6 years."
