Colmar catering student voted best apprentice in France

The title of "best apprentice in France" was awarded to Angèle Guilbert-Already, who is studying at the hotel and catering training center in Colmar (Haut-Rhin).

The 21-year-old student stood out in the “tableware and service” category.

This national award follows for the winner of the regional gold medal she won on April 28.

The young woman holds a series L baccalaureate, thus respecting the wishes of her parents.

They wanted her to obtain this diploma before moving towards the field that has always attracted her, that of cooking and room service.

Angèle Guilbert-Deja confided to

Art before restoration

After graduating from Athis-Mons (Essonne), the teenager chose to study art in Alsace before being overtaken by fate.

She heard about the possibility of becoming an apprentice in a starred restaurant in Wihr-au-Val (Haut-Rhin) from a friend who was employed there.

Angèle Guilbert-Already seized this opportunity and embarked on a CAP.

She then joined a brewery to discover another professional experience.
