[Explanation] Stomping, kicking, spinning... 74-year-old tap dance enthusiast Zhao Ping has practiced these basic movements very well.

Zhao Ping is the oldest tap dancing student at the University of the Elderly in Jilin Province. She believes that dancing has helped her "rejuvenate her old age".

Recently, Zhao Ping came to the elderly university to take dance classes as usual.

Standing among a crowd of students, her silver hair is very conspicuous.

The reporter learned that this tap dance team has 24 members, with an average age of about 66 years old.

Zhao Ping told reporters that she has been learning tap dancing for more than ten years, and she never missed a class during that period.

(In class) For more than two hours, the teacher led us to teach and practice first. After that, I recalled what the teacher said in class at home. (At home) you can't wear shoes, you have to wear socks, and pat yourself underground in the house.

[Commentary] The reporter noticed that Zhao Ping quickly learned the newly-edited movements by the dance teacher.

Although he is the oldest, the old man is so energetic and light as a swallow when he dances, it is difficult to tell his actual age.

Everyone asked me, I said I took the elixir, this is the elixir, exercise, everyone is particularly happy when exercise, young, healthy, nothing wrong.

[Explanation] As a "veteran" member, Zhao Ping has also followed the dance team to participate in competitions and perform on stage in Shandong, Shaanxi and other places, and is full of energy.

In another month, the university for the elderly will be closed and the dance class will end.

Zhao Ping said that due to her age, she can no longer continue to take dance classes, so she cherishes this month's time.

Zhao Ping said that in the future, she will treat every place where she can dance as a stage, and continue to let more people appreciate the unique charm of tap dancing.

She (squad leader) posted the videos we learned in our group, and I can follow along at home.

My wish is to promote these activities for the elderly so that these elderly people can live well in their old age.
