Six media and media groups from the French public audiovisual sector are committed to the themes of youth services and the visibility of overseas territories, through the signing of two pacts with the Ministry of Culture.

The 30 commitments incorporated into these two pacts will be subject to review of results within two years.

"Two common priorities".

This is how the Ministry of Culture describes its common desire with the public audiovisual sector to promote the youth offer and the visibility of overseas territories.

These priorities are at the heart of two thematic pacts signed by six media and media groups from the French public audiovisual sector and the rue de Valois.

In detail, it is France Télévisions, Radio France, France Médias Monde, ARTE, TV5 Monde and the National Audiovisual Institute (Ina) which are committed.

A joint report expected in two years

The first pact, which concerns young people, commits the signatories to two main objectives: "to enrich the public audiovisual offer for young people and to invest more resolutely in new distribution vectors to win over generations who tend to turn away traditional channels "and" to make educational and initial training offers in the public audiovisual sector as references ".

The second pact, that on the Overseas Territories, aims to improve "the visibility of the Overseas Territories through the mutual enrichment of public audiovisual offers", "the distribution of content and overseas services. "and" to promote the presence of overseas people in the programs and their design ".

Each pact details respectively 15 commitments to meet these objectives.

The signatories will, within two years, be accountable for their progress, by drawing up a joint report on the application of their commitments.
