“I belong to the Emirates and I do not feel alienated in it.” With these words, the Lebanese artist, Yara, expressed her comfort and happiness in the Emirates after she moved to reside there two years ago, noting in her conversation with “Emirates Today”, on the sidelines of her participation in “Style Station” in Mirdif. City Centre, about her true affiliation to the country that she finds similar to her, as she used to live in it during her childhood days.
Yara participated in the "Style Station" in Mirdif City Center, where she appeared and talked about her relationship with fashion and her appearance, and during her conversation with "Emirates Today", she confirmed her happiness to be part of this event, and that she always loves simplicity in her appearance, and cares that her appearance be expressing her personality.
Regarding her move to reside in the Emirates, she said: “I chose to reside in Dubai two years ago, and I really do not feel how all this time has passed. And friends, but I do not feel alienated at all, and I pray for the Emirates to continue blessing, prosperity and peace.”
She confirmed that she had obtained the golden residency, expressing her appreciation for all that the country offers to residents on its land, and for all the development they are doing at various levels.
Yara recently released her new album, and chose most of his songs in the Lebanese dialect, along with two songs in the Egyptian dialect, and pointed out that her choice to sing in various dialects, including the Gulf, stems from her choice of songs that are similar to them, which can be said that they are close to the contemporary classic color, although they carry a fast rhythm . Yara added: “I choose the lyrics of the songs through my constant search for topics that are similar to me, and I released the album (other than the people) and the song that I put as the title of the album was in the Iraqi dialect, and it is the first time that I sing in this dialect, I am very interested in diversification and not only in dialects, But in rhythm as well, and I always strive to highlight the diversity of lyrical colors between classical and fast.”
The Lebanese singer collaborated with the late poet Elias Nasser in a large number of her songs, and pointed out that after his death, she relies in her selection of songs on beautiful words, noting that her business manager, Tariq Abu Joudeh, is working on writing and composing at the present time, and that he has a hidden talent that she will present. With her voice in her upcoming works, without refusing to deal with new names of poets, composers or even directors, she loves to support real talents.
Yara cares a lot about her accounts on social media platforms, and always seeks to present a positive image to the audience through the content that she presents, and whether the content is spontaneous or thoughtful, she confirmed that there is a fine line between spontaneity and presenting what is considered, noting that she prefers that her looks be Spontaneous in general, and thoughtful to the positive side. And she added: "I deal with the followers and on the platforms, as if I were at home, knowing that this platform includes millions, but I enjoy every beautiful word that is written. These platforms transmit positive energy to me, and for this I am keen to offer everything that carries love and hope."
