The 4th CIIE will set up a cultural relics and art section for the first time.
Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism (Shanghai Municipal Administration of Cultural Relics) has handled the temporary entry review and registration of cultural relics for the first batch of four cultural relics exhibits at Christie’s Art Space.
They are: Zhang Daqian’s "Five Pavilions", Carmel Pissarro’s "Le Havre’s Pilot’s Dock", Francesco Guardi’s "Venice Dock" and Amedeo. Modigliani's "Ateliz Hastings in Front of the Door" are all top artworks.
According to statistics, as of now, a total of institutions from 11 countries and regions including the United Kingdom, Spain, Hong Kong, etc. have confirmed their participation in the cultural relics and artworks section of the 4th CIIE. The exhibition area is more than 1,200 square meters and 178 exhibits have been declared. 2.3 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), 39 exhibits in Chinese, worth about 1.1 billion yuan.
