According to the JR East Chiba branch office, the JR Sotobo Line is a 15-car high-speed train at the crossing between Oami Station in Oamishirasato City, Chiba Prefecture and Toke Station in Midori Ward, Chiba City at around 10:40 am. We are currently suspending operation on the up and down lines.
According to JR, the rear part of the passenger car collided with the front part of the train.
About 500 people are on the train, and so far no information on injured people has been entered, but JR is proceeding with confirmation.
