He intervened to make peace between two of his relatives and slaughtered them

A jury in the Russian city of Krasnodar found 44-year-old Karim Ashuralev guilty of double murder.

Karim Ashuralev, 44, tried to reconcile two of his relatives, but ended up killing them, the regional prosecutor's office said.

The family drama took place on September 30, 2019 during a feast on the Lenin farm near Krasnodar.

The man drank an amount of alcohol with the 70-year-old homeowner when an argument broke out between her and her 48-year-old daughter.

The guest tried to reconcile the two women, but could not reduce the intensity of the dispute.

Ashuralev, as noted in court, committed his crime because of his personal hatred of women due to their unwillingness to end the dispute, he took a knife and slaughtered his two female relatives.

When the doctors arrived at the scene, the mother and daughter died.

The jury found the man guilty, but he won't be sentenced until December.
