On October 27, at the Hong Kong Infection Control Center of North Lantau Hospital, the "temporary hospital" in Hong Kong aided by the central government, project director Zhang Yi introduced that this is the world's first all-MIC negative pressure isolation ward infectious disease hospital, which contains a lot of High-tech elements, including non-contact interlocking airtight doors, high-efficiency air filters, patient information visualization platform, air pressure balancer, etc.

  It is reported that the project was formally signed on September 18, 2020, undertaken by China State Construction International Group, and officially completed on January 20, 2021. It is one of the central government’s major projects to support Hong Kong’s fight against the epidemic. 816 negative pressure isolation beds and a number of important medical resources were provided.
