A bus driver rescued a woman and her young child from a suicide attempt, from a bridge in southern China's Guangdong Province.

In the video, published by the Chinese news agency Xinhua, the driver approaches the woman and her son who was carrying him and tries to jump from the bridge to the river, but the driver was faster than her to get out of his bus and catch them at the last moment, with the help of a number of passengers.

Several passengers got off the bus, and one of them took the child into the bus, while the rest grabbed the woman, who was collapsed and crying.
