Some employees disregard existing work disciplines and leave their posts at will. This is not a humanized management, but a "loose" management.

Recently, some media reported that some employees of the Education and Sports Bureau of Yugan County in Jiangxi are late and leave early. For example, it is stipulated to leave work at 12:00 noon, but 11:45 people have vacated; they go to work at 14:30, but the office is empty.

In response, the director of the Party Office of the Yugan County Education and Sports Bureau responded: "It is required (yes) to ask for 12 o'clock (off work), but some lesbians have to cook, half an hour earlier."

During the specified working hours, the entire office is almost empty, with late arrivals and early departures. This is a typical work style problem, which obviously violates relevant regulations.

However, the relevant leaders of the Yugan County Education and Sports Bureau attributed it to "some lesbians are cooking", and the behavior of blindly "throwing the pot" ignoring the problem is really infuriating.

Perhaps there are some objective situations in which individual staff members have to go back to cook and have problems at home.

In this regard, the "Civil Servants Law of the People's Republic of China" clearly stipulates that civil servants implement the working hour system stipulated by the state and enjoy vacations in accordance with state regulations.

In other words, civil servants have the right to take sick leave and personal leave.

However, the current response from the Education and Sports Bureau of Yugan County did not mention whether employees asked for leave or not. Instead, it felt that rough management and lax work style were pushed to "some lesbians".

Can employees come home from work early to cook?

Some netizens suggested that flexible commuting time is a way of humane management.

Indeed, some companies have loose working hours, which can enhance the enthusiasm of employees.

However, the more humane management is, the more it should be based on strict and detailed regulations.

Different from self-financing enterprises, the county education and sports bureau, as a government agency, is primarily responsible for serving the people and giving priority to the interests of the people. At noon and afternoon close to work hours, it may be precisely the people who came to report problems and seek help. Time, it stands to reason that the closer this time is, the more efficient the staff should be. How can they leave their posts at such a time?

On the other hand, humanized management requires careful study of its own work rules, summarizing work intensity and flexibility, and formulating corresponding measures based on the actual situation, and submitting it to the competent unit and competent department for approval. At least it should be publicized internally to get the job. The unanimous recognition and compliance of personnel can realize the original intention of humanized management.

The practice of the Education and Sports Bureau obviously does not meet the requirements. Some employees ignore the existing work discipline and leave their posts at will. This is not a humanized management, but a "loose" management.

On this basis, the phrase "some lesbians are going to cook" replaces the original work management and style issues with the "housekeeping issues" of employees; the original collective issues are replaced with single group issues such as "lesbians".

Even if the employees who arrive late and leave early are all women, is it because they come home to cook?

The response that cannot withstand scrutiny conceals the laxity of management and the stereotype of the female group.

In front of the supervisor, don't use "lesbian" as a "shield".

When this happens, the relevant units should conduct self-examination and self-correction to improve their work style.

Strict attendance system, timely understand the situation of employees, improve support mechanisms for difficult situations, and perform well the work responsibilities of government agencies.
