As an actor, Alec Baldwin does not risk being held accountable for the shots that killed a film photographer.

But in his role as producer, Alec Baldwin may be prosecuted.

"We do not rule anything out," prosecutor Mary Carmack-Altwies told the New York Times.

She says the investigation is concentrating on finding out what type of ammunition was used and who gave the gun to Alec Baldwin.

- There were huge amounts of bullets during this recording and we need to find out what they were.

Holds press conference

Carmack-Altwies will later in the day attend a press conference on the investigation into the tragic accident during the filming of the movie "Rust" on October 21.

She tells the news agency AP that the investigation is still in its infancy and that it will be a while before a decision can be made on possible charges.

The weapon that Baldwin used was one of three that were on a cart outside the building where a scene from the film was repeated.

Authorities have seized three black revolvers, holsters, ammunition, clothing and secured traces of what is believed to be blood.

The press conference begins at 5 pm Swedish time.
