Iranian nuclear: Tehran says it is ready to resume negotiations in November

For the moment this is only an announcement, Iran says it is ready to resume discussions on its nuclear program.

It was the Iranian negotiator who said this Wednesday in Brussels.

Negotiations could take place in Vienna in Austria, before the end of November announced the Iranian negotiator Ali Bagheri after his meeting with Enrique Mora, the European high diplomat in charge of the file.

There is for the moment no precise date while at the same time, there is still frying on the line between Iran and its interlocutors.

Contacted by RFI, a French diplomatic source claims to have received no official message from Tehran. 

Since the election of the new Iranian president Ebrahim Raïssi last June,

 while taking worrying steps in its uranium enrichment program.

If the dialogue does resume in Vienna, Austria in the coming weeks, it will bring together the protagonists of the historic 2015 compromise: Iran, United States, China, Russia, France, United Kingdom and Germany.

An agreement that Donald Trump had decided to leave unilaterally during his mandate.

Today it is a question of picking up the pieces according to well-known parameters: the guarantee of the peaceful character of the nuclear program, the return of Iran to its obligations and the lifting of the American sanctions which suffocate the economy of the Islamic Republic.
