NHK analyzed the number of people at major points using mobile phone location data collected by IT-related company "Agoop" with the permission of users in a non-personally identifiable manner.



On the 25th, requests for shortened working hours for restaurants were lifted in Tokyo, Osaka, Chiba, Kanagawa, and Saitama prefectures.



The number of people at the main points in these five prefectures


increased by 32% near Chiba Station,


18% near Umeda Station in Osaka,


13% near Kabukicho, Shinjuku, and


4% near Shibuya Scramble Crossing
