In the museum's "Exhibition Hall No. 1", on-site staff introduced to reporters that the Hong Kong Palace Museum has nine exhibition halls with a total area of 7,800 square meters.
The area of "Exhibition Hall One" is about 860 square meters.
It is worth mentioning that, in order to ensure the display environment of the exhibits, the exhibition hall is equipped with electromechanical equipment to keep the hall in a constant temperature and humidity environment for a long time.
Among them, the fire protection system of the exhibition hall is also different. Taking into account the purpose of protecting the exhibits, it will not spray water directly.
In addition, considering that the museum has high requirements for the sound environment, the ceiling of the exhibition hall is also equipped with soundproof materials to ensure the visitor experience of the audience.
It is reported that the Hong Kong Palace Museum will officially open to the public in July 2022.
