From October 17th to 23rd, 10 ships and 6 carrier-based helicopters of the Chinese and Russian navies formed a joint formation and successfully organized and implemented the first joint maritime cruise in the Sea of Japan, the Western Pacific and the East China Sea.

During the joint cruise, foreign ships and planes tracked the formation and collected intelligence.

In accordance with relevant international laws, the Chinese ships issued warnings to them, asking the other side to maintain a safe distance and not to interfere with the normal navigation of the formation.
