The YouTube video platform suspended the activities of Jair Bolsonaro's channel for a week on Monday, after removing a video in which he mentioned false information linking the coronavirus vaccine to AIDS.
The Brazilian president's account is blocked for a week.
This is the second time that President Jair Bolsonaro has violated the platform's "community standards".
This time it's because of medical misinformation.
In a live video last Thursday, he mentioned the existence of a supposed link between Covid-19 vaccines and the development of AIDS.
According to him, this link was established in official reports of the British government.
The latter categorically denied, as did scientists.

A video deleted by Facebook and Instagram
The video was therefore deleted by YouTube and the platform decided to go further, in accordance with its regulations. "We removed a video from Jair Bolsonaro's channel for violating our medical disinformation policies on Covid-19 by claiming that vaccines do not reduce the risk of contracting the disease and that they cause other infectious diseases." , YouTube told AFP. Social networks Facebook and Instagram, which belong to the same group, deleted the video on Monday for the same reason.
As this is the second time that the Brazilian president has broken platform rules, his account is suspended for the next seven days.
His videos already online will remain accessible to the public, but Jair Bolsonaro will not be able to post new ones or do live broadcasts.
The president has 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
