At the site of the debris flow that occurred in Atami City in July, a large number of memorable items such as photographs and letters were found in the process of searching for missing persons, and about 40 local volunteers cleaned and classified them. I've been working on it.

On the 26th, the final day of the activity, a place was set up to express gratitude to the former Ajiro Elementary School, and after thank-you from Mayor Sakae Saito of Atami City and the chief of the Atami Police Station, the special safety of the police station Yukio Hashi, a singer who acts as a countermeasure superintendent, appeared as a surprise.

Mr. Hashi said, "I think it was courageous and encouraging for the victims," and responded to the commemorative photo with the volunteers.

About 60,000 photos were washed, and by the 25th, they had been returned to the victims of 39 households.

Junko Otake, who has been volunteering, said, "I think the people affected by the disaster are in a difficult situation, but I hope that the memorable items will give us a chance to move forward."
