[Explanation] To celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 24th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong, on the morning of October 25th, the "Spirit of the Times Brilliant Hong Kong" exhibition was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Liaison Office of the Hong Kong Central Committee and China State Construction Engineering Corporation. It opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center to introduce to Hong Kong citizens the long history of Chinese architecture and the great achievements of Chinese construction in the new era.

He said that the theme of this exhibition is construction. It not only showcases the long history and splendid culture of Chinese architecture, but also shows the important architecture and infrastructure of modern China, as well as the construction Technological advances by leaps and bounds reflect the close connection between Hong Kong and the country in different senses, and the country's support and care for Hong Kong.

　　This national construction theme exhibition traverses the past and present, exhibiting many famous landmarks in China in the form of historical photos, construction models, and multimedia videos, fully demonstrating the outstanding achievements of Chinese architecture.

The content of this exhibition covers many Hong Kong's architecture and infrastructure, including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, which broke many world records, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, which will open next year (2022).

They reflect the close connection between Hong Kong and the motherland in different senses, and the country's support and care for Hong Kong.

For example, the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong designed by Mr. Pei I.M. is based on the Chinese image of bamboo steadily rising, which embodies the unity of architectural art and Chinese aesthetics. I believe the majority of Hong Kong citizens can be inspired by it.

Launched the "Thousands of People Crossing the River" plan and dispatched 1,000 Hong Kong employees across the Shenzhen River to work and live in the Mainland to promote the integration and development of Hong Kong professionals and the Greater Bay Area.

It is planned to carry out maintenance of more than 1,000 households in Hong Kong to provide temperature for the livelihood and well-being of Hong Kong people.

On the same day, more than 30 students from Wang Jinhui Primary and Secondary School affiliated to Hong Kong Baptist University held the national flag and regional flag and sang the song "The Descendant of the Dragon", which won rounds of applause.
