Mako, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Akishino, who will get married on the 26th, visited the temporary residence of the Emperor and his wife on the 25th and gave a greeting of their marriage.

Mako departed from the Akasaka Imperial Palace, where she lives, and entered the Sento Imperial Palace in Minato-ku, Tokyo, where the Emperor and his wife temporarily lived, before 10:30 am on the 25th.

In front of the Sento Temporary Palace, more than 100 people, including people passing by and the press, gathered, and Mako opened the window and waved with a smiling expression.

After that, the Emperor and Mrs. Mako received a greeting about their marriage from Mako for over an hour.

It is the first time in about one year and seven months since the Emperor and his wife met Mako in March last year when they were sent off when they left the Imperial Palace where they lived for many years.

Mako will submit a marriage registration with Kei Komuro on the morning of the 26th, and from the afternoon, the two of them will have a press conference at a hotel in Tokyo.
